Photography is a passion for me; it's about weaving narratives and capturing moments, not overcharging or upselling. To better understand the components of your package price and the necessary costs of running a professional photography business, let's break it down:

  • Hourly Coverage: My rate for each hour of event coverage is based on my expertise, unique business offerings, current equipment quality, and overall experience at the time of booking.

  • Travel Expenses: Travel expenses out of state often entail a round-trip flight and accommodation for two nights. By utilizing my off-grid camper for Minnesota-based projects, I manage to keep these packages competitively priced as camping fees are typically less expensive than hotel stays.

  • Film & Development: The cost of film rolls and their development are incorporated into your overall package cost.

  • Ongoing Costs & Equipment Maintenance: I factor a margin into each package to cover recurring costs like Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, gallery hosting, hard drive acquisition and maintenance, gear upgrades, and more.

  • Sustainable Earnings & Business Growth: While a portion of my living and business growth costs are accounted for in my hourly rate, I have various ideas for the future of my photography business, such as studio space & more. As such, a part of your package investment will support these initiatives and ensure a sustainable livelihood and retirement savings as I continue to capture your precious moments.

All of my images are level (unless otherwise artistically chosen not to be); you won't find any crooked walls or slanted floors.

My galleries are artfully edited with coherent, subtly enhanced colors, preserving the natural beauty of your moments.

I include all images in color and black & white in my final galleries.
